User Groups
User groups are a feature that allows you to manage multiple users as a single group.
This enables you to collectively grant permissions for specific projects or services, and set up notification channels.
Using user groups can increase management efficiency by reducing the hassle of granting permissions to individual users.
Creating a User Group
Open User Group Creation Modal
Click the [Create] button in the top right of the user group page.
Enter User Group Information
Enter the name and description for the user group.
- Group Name: Enter the name of the user group.
- Description (Optional): Enter a description for the user group.
Managing User Groups
You can modify or delete specific user groups by selecting them from the user group list.
Modifying User Group Information
You can modify the name and description of the user group.
Deleting User Groups
Delete the selected user group.
Adding/Removing Users to User Groups
Adding Users
There are two ways to add users to a user group:
Method 1) Select a specific user group from the list, then click [Add Users] from the actions dropdown in the top left
Method 2) Click the [Add Users] button on the right in the user group detail page
Then, select the users to add to the user group and click the [Confirm] button.
Removing Users
Select a specific user group from the list, then select the users to remove from the user list.
Then, click the [Remove Users] button on the left.
Setting Up Notification Channels for User Groups
You can set up notification channels for user groups to send notifications to users in that group.
Open Notification Channel Creation Modal
Select a specific user group from the list, then move to the [Notification Channel] tab at the bottom.
Then, click the [Create] button on the right.
Select Notification Channel
Select the desired channel and click the [Continue] button.
Enter Notification Channel Information
Enter the notification channel name and channel-specific information.
You can specify the days and times to receive notifications through schedule settings.
