Authority System and Roles

We provide a basic authority system called Role types that allows you to grant user-specific access permissions according to your organization’s structure and purpose, and operate a systematic management system.

Types of Roles

Roles consist of three types:

• Admin: Has access to all workspaces including domain settings, and includes Admin mode.
• Workspace Owner: Can access all projects within the workspace.
• Workspace Member: Can only access projects they are invited to.

Characteristics by Role Type

Admin Role Type

• Domain-wide User Management Authority

  • Invite and manage users within domain and workspaces
  • Grant Admin, Workspace Owner, and Workspace Member roles
  • Configure access restrictions for service sub-menus by role
  • Able to recover user accounts

• Workspace Environment Management Authority

  • Create and delete workspaces
  • Access to environments across all workspaces

• App (Client Secret) Management Authority

  • Create and delete apps (Client Secrets) for domain-wide access
  • Grant apps (Client Secrets) by Admin role

• Domain Settings Authority

  • White labeling settings such as domain display and icons
  • Domain-wide timezone & language settings

• Other Service-specific Management Authority within Domain

  • Create data collectors or cost budgets with Global scope

Workspace Owner Role Type

• User Management Authority for Specific Workspace

  • Invite and manage users within workspace
  • Grant Workspace Owner and Workspace Member roles

• App (Client Secret) Management Authority

  • Create and delete apps (Client Secrets) for workspace access
  • Grant apps (Client Secrets) by Workspace Owner role

• Authority to Create New Projects and Access All Projects

• Other Service-specific Management Authority within Workspace
